BCAA²™ Clinical Studies

BCAA²™ was formulated with your progress and results in mind. Innovative ingredients such as Coconut Water and L-Tyrosine as well as others have been added to the mix. It contains 8g of your Aminos, but we took the opportunity to pack our intra-workout supplement with endurance, focus and absorption enhancers that will keep your body fueled with quality ingredients that each serve a specific purpose. Let us show you why BCAA²™ can make a difference for you, with research-supported evidence.


Our labels are all categorized into blend formulas to better help you understand what ingredients provide what qualities to the overall product. Each and every blend or formula contributes to BCAA²™, no fillers, no junk only ingredients your body will benefit from.

First up, the Performance Blend, in BCAA²™ there is only 1 ingredient which is what most of you will recognize as aminos. 


Proven to limit muscle breakdown and improve the ability for muscles to repair themselves during and after a performance, BCAAs are a must-have if you are serious about your workouts and recovery. This combination of Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine is proven to help stimulate protein synthesis, aid in muscle growth, and decrease recovery time between sessions (Case 1, below). However, studies have also made a connection with mental performance and BCAAs as well - as seen in Case 2. The recommended dosage of Instantized BCAAs is 6g - 20g, BCAA²™ coming in with 8g.

In Case 3, the Acta Physiologica Scandinavica discovered that perceived mental and physical fatigue is also lowered when taking BCAAs as well as a higher degree of mental performance post-exercise.

Next, we created an endurance blend that will help provide the extra bump needed to get through a grueling workout.


This ingredient in our intra-workout required a bit of forward-thinking. To aid with hydration, coconut water helps replenish electrolytes and has been proven to aid in full-body hydration (Case 1), also re-hydration after exercise-induced dehydration (Case 2).

Thinking beyond just the gym and hydration, there have also been studies done to suggest that coconut water can benefit other aspects of your health. Such as cardiovascular benefits from the potassium, calcium, magnesium, and L-Arginine that are present in coconut water. In Case 3, the study concluded that coconut water may prove to help prevent and/or recover from heart attacks one day. 

Evidence of coconut water helping with high blood pressure has also surfaced from the case study (4).


As a conditionally essential amino acid, you can probably already assume that this ingredient would benefit your workout. Using endurance, Taurine helps keep your hydration levels up throughout your sweat session by balancing water and mineral salt levels. The clinically studied and recommended dosages range from 500mg - 2g, BCAA²™ coming in strong at a full 2g.

In Case 1, evidence is provided that after two weeks of taurine supplementation, it reverses early, detectable conduit vessel abnormalities in young male diabetics. 

People who suffer from heart failure have also been proven to be able to increase their exercise capacity from taurine supplementation alongside standard medical treatment. (Case 2)


Just as with PINNACLE, we put Spectra™ into our intra-workout to provide your body with an extra boost of this quality antioxidant that fights potentially dangerous free radicals that can be brought on from exercise. As Case 1 by Food and Science Nutrition suggests: "Unique activity of SPECTRA™ suggests the potential for the use of the supplement in the modulation of oxidative stress, NO bioavailability, inflammatory response, blood glucose levels, and ultimately supporting “optimal health.”" Also, proven in Case 2, to reduce free radicals in people after consuming Spectra™. The clinically tested and proven dose of SPECTRA™ is 100mg, with BCAA²™ being dosed at 100mg.

We felt as if our intra-workout BCAA²™ wouldn't be worth its while if we didn't provide some added focus that would keep you in the zone throughout your entire workout.


Just as explained with our pre-workout PINNACLE™: 

Proven time and time again, L-Tyrosine always comes up as a winner in the search for raw focus. The production of dopamine and noradrenaline is increased due to tyrosine. The combining effect leads to increased focus and mood while reducing the feeling of stress and anxiety...either of which can wreak havoc on a workout. If you're looking for one of those workouts where you're so zoned in on what you're doing that you realize 20 minutes later your song has been on repeat...this will do it. Proven effective clinically studied doses of L-Tyrosine are 500mg - 2g. BCAA²™ contains 1.5g.

L-Tyrosine was tested by Aviation, Space and Environmental Medicine for the effects of tyrosine on cognitive performance after sleep loss (Case 1).

We can all expect some stress from time to time, but one of the last places you want it sneaking up on you is during a workout. In Case 2 Brain Research studies the effects of tyrosine on exposure to acute, uncontrollable stress.


Just as in PINNACLE™, Bioperine® is a popular ingredient, and for good reason. Bioperine® has been used to enhance bioavailability for decades and was found to enhance absorption of nutrients by at least 30%. That's pretty substantial. The clinically proven dosage is 5mg, BCAA²™ containing 5mg.

In Case 1 you can read how piperine, an alkaloid derived from black pepper increases the serum response of β-carotene during 14 days of oral β-carotene supplementation.

Piperine has been tested for bioavailability when combined with curcumin. Curcumin alone has poor bioavailability. Combining it with piperine there is found to be a 154% increase in bioavailability (Case 2).

In a separate double-blind study by the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, (Case 3) piperine that was at least 98% pure was used to evaluate the plasma levels of the coenzyme Q10 after being supplemented orally.
